Seagate Xbox One 2tb Ssd Not Working

For Xbox Series X on the Xbox Series X, a GameFAQs message board topic titled 'Not buying a Seagate SSD expansion until they have 2TB or price comes way down' - Page 2. .FIX. So i spend over 2 hours reformatting a Samsung 860 1TB SSD for my Xbox One X and nothing worked, almost gave up but then this final small thing worked. I was using an internal SSD used for PC's and a SSD external housing (way cheaper than buying an external SSD) and the external case you get gave me a USB 3.0 wire to connect it, turns out. If the data is corrupted but the drive still works, check if it's still detected when plugged into a Windows computer and see if you can reformat it (use NTFS as the file system) - note: this deletes everything off of the hard drive.

Seagate

Seagate has announced the new Game Drive for Xbox SSD, an external flash storage drive for the Xbox One and Xbox One S for storing all your games.

Unlike the PS4, the Xbox One does not come with a user replaceable internal drive, which means you are stuck with whatever you get your Xbox with at purchase. With this drive you will be able to expand the storage on your Xbox for games and other files.

Also, unlike the internal hard drive on the Xbox One, this drive uses flash storage, which should result in faster load times within games.

The Game Drive for Xbox SSD has 512GB of storage space and is priced at $199.99. You can still get the mechanical drive version of this if you want more space (up to 4TB).

Seagate Xbox One 2tb Ssd Not Working

Purchase a Samsung SSD 500GB 850 EVO from ebay on the cheap to use with my xbox. Worth it, games load so much faster! Battlefield 1 with it's big maps would take a good minute or two to load, now I'm the first one in the map!

I think you can use any USB 3.0 drive and that should work fine. Premiere pro not opening. This is complete waste of money.

He probably forgot to read that it's a SSD not HDD.
